you know what, i'm really glad that i found this in Pinterest this morning

these past couple of weeks, my life has somewhat become hectic
unscheduled...
messy...
exhausted...
and frustrating
err just to name a few
(haha, bajet drama sangat life aku nih!)

the kids are taking turns with their fever, coughs and flu (and throwing tantrums!)
nadeem's eczema flares up again (and throwing tantrums!)
and najah's super duper whines and wails (and throwing tantrums!)
and i still have a husband that i still need to take care of (well, at least he's not throwing tantrums!)

at times, i feel like the day has no end
at times, i feel like everything is falling apart
i am lacking of sleep, obviously
i lost my appetite
and my energy levels completely drained off
not to forget, my emotion has been on and off the radar too
i get angry easily, which is like my very biggest disappointment!
and i even cry without notice
worst of all, i resented my child and my husband

but then again, who says motherhood is easy?
for me, it's already been 3 years and a half, and i'm still juggling with motherhood
and i am working 8-5 some more
so i guess, i should just keep calm and embrace whatever the God has laid out for me

anyway,  i started to use this words as my mantra, which i got from Picklebums

'This too shall pass...' 

surprisingly, it helps
it really does!

this post comes a month late after the actual event
just would like to share the video of najah runs during her sports day last time
tee heee...

at that time, i just found out that najah is the tallest in her class
yep, even the boys are shorter than her
haha

and nope, she did not win any medal
apparently a boy in her class changed his lane into najah's lane while running, hence slowing her down
however, despite the loss, she still put up an awesome winning smile

winning or losing doesn't matter
because you still completed the race right?
what matters most is that you are able to enjoy yourself!
even though it started to rain cats and dogs halfway through the event
yikes...

truth to be told
all my life, i have never been such a sucker for shoes
or slippers
or sandals
or wedges
or whatever seangkatan dengannya

yep, i'm not bluffing here
you can ask my husband(~dohhh)

i only update my shoe cupboard only once or twice a year
normally i'd buy something that i can wear for the office and for my daily wear as well
until that particular shoes or slippers are already worn out, then i'd go and hunt a new one

but, ever since i laid my eyes on this one
i can't stop thinking about NOT having it
it's isabel marant sneaker wedges and yes, i notice that it is way out of my ATM league
haha
but still, i could not stop myself from drooling over this gorgeous thing

they come in many colors, but my heart are already fixed at the middle one

and then, i found out that skechers also come out with similar sneaker design called SKCH+3

i still have yet to confirm the price in malaysia, but i'm hoping that it's affordable

adik ada eczema

another mama's proud moment

this morning, while we were having breakfast at our regular place (the 4 of us), a familiar face approached our table

he asked najah
"kakak, kenapa muka adik merah-merah tu? kakak buat adik eh?"

without hesitant, she answers back
"najah tak buat adik. adik kan ada ECZEMA"

for the fact that she can reply her adik has eczema
for the fact that she KNOWS her adik has eczema
and for the fact that she can pronounce the word eczema itself without any mispronunciation
mama bangga sangat dengan najah

i won't put any high expectations on you since you're only 3, but i still hope that you will give your best shot

the intention is good, but...

have you ever encountered any awkward or cynical moment that leave you pause like for the longest time
or just being plain dumbfounded over something good?
well, i sure do

it's not really a big deal, but somehow it does bothers me

the first situation (my story)

place: the office musolla
activity: reading a book during my breast milk pumping session

this particular person enters the musolla, and said to me

'hari-hari akak nampak awak bace buku kat sini, kan lebih elok kalau awak mengaji Al-Quran!'
 i was choked for a while, and then forced a smile back to her

the second situation (a friend story)

place: the office foyer
activity: waiting for dear husband to pick her up and go back home
side note: our office is just beside the UTM mosque and they have this tafaquh class activity every evening after 5pm

the same particular person come, and said

'daripada awak melanguk kat sini, baiklah awak pergi masjid attend class tafaquh tu!'


so, what i'm trying to say is i know that her intention is good
(God bless, she just perform her hajj not too long ago), but the way she approached to both of us is somewhat out of manners
we feel so sentap like that
huhu

for my situation, i was pumping milk from my breast, how can i possibly recite the al-quran while doing that?
i don't know about other people, but for me is just not an appropriate things to do
kan?
so, instead of me staring at the wall blindly, might as well i read books
at least i got something out of it too

and whereas for my friend, her husband is going to pick her up anytime soon, and won't it be troublesome for her to go to the mosque like for 5 minutes, and then going out again because her husband is already arrived?

my point is
being persuasive is good
better yet, it is for a good cause pun
but still, we have to think about others too instead of being pushy and and ended up with the other person being hurt, or sad, or just mad

vote: the very first experience

Alhamdulillah, i've done my part on 5th May
it's quite a long journey for us since we live in jb
you see my voting station is in kuantan, whereas husband is in batu pahat
after my pangkah session early that morning, we need to rush back to batu pahat asap in order for husband to do his part plak
i received a lot of question of why i did not perform my duty at jb itself
well, kuantan is my hometown and my ic still bears that 06 figures
that's why
and at least i get to stop by at my grandmother's house since i seldom visited her

oh on that day, i did not take any pictures of my blue finger
or me, while queuing at the respective saluran
cause you've got to see that scene all over facebook, instagram, or whatevs
so i just don't bother
haha

and the results of the general election has been announced
my opinion is, respect the winners
and respect the unlucky candidates too
for the winners, you have to start carry out on whatever preach that you promise to the rakyat
and for the unlucky one, sit down, analyze, and come out with a new and better strategy for PRU14

trotro

the only two things i know about trotro are

1. it's about a little grey donkey called trotro
2. and it's in french!!! and sometimes he speaks deutch!!

apparently i notice that najah enjoys watching this cartoon for the past few days from the ipad
and it's kind of funny because she acts like she really can understand what the hell that little donkey was saying and all

and now, she tags along nadeem to watch together with her
omg!


so, should i take french lessons now?
because the only french words that i know are

'voulez vous coucher avec moi?'
matilaa...
