bile awak takde

ni dah masuk hari ke 5
awak takde

bile awak takde
saya bangun lambat sikit pegi keje
selalu pukul 6,tapi dah extend pukul 6.30

bile awak takde
saya still breakfast kat aminah
tapi bukan dengan awak, dengan tok abah
huk alohh..takkan dengan staf aminah pulak kan
penat nak jawab pertanyaan diorang tanye awak mane
semalam mamat cashier tanye
harini mamat amek order tanye
tak tau ke saya ni tengah takde suara sekarang
susah payah explain

bile awak takde
time lunch hour hari-hari jalan pergi SUB beli pau sorang-sorang
satu pau kaya
satu pau kacang
memang dah makan nasi pukul 10 tu, tapi kalau lapar macamane?
lambat lagi tu nak tunggu pukul 5
paling gigil sekali sebab tak dapat jejak kaki kat jusco ngan u-mall
sedih...
boleh je nak suruh tok abah datang
tapi awak bukan tak tau perangai anak dare awak macamane
tak pasal-pasal dia buat drama 'mak dera anak'

bile awak takde
hari-hari jugak saya punch out kuar office sharp pukul 5
tok abah punctual, bukan macam awak
kalau awak ade
memang confirm hari-hari saya balik lambat
TT__TT

bile awak takde
saya tetap tak masak kat rumah
tapi malam tadi saya berusaha jugak masak
ayam masak kicap ngan sup sayur untuk anak-anak
tapi kesian ngan tok abah
penat layan karenah si anje
oleh itu, saya berikrar untuk taknak masak lagi harini
makan kat luar ke...
tapau ke...
lagi senang

bile awak takde
kemain lagi najah nak manje-manje dengan saye
buat susu nak dengan mama
mandi nak dengan mama
kaler-kaler nak dengan mama
tidur nak dengan mama
dukung nak dengan mama
pitam~

bile awak takde
nadeem maintain ok
sebab mama dia ade
hehehe

tapi ape apepun

terrorist tak semayang

i found out a few days ago that Mat Luthfi actually has a blog
well of course we know him for his funny-but-with-moral-values vlog
and his blog is just the same!
but with his own written word

and this one post, i just couldn't stop myself from laughing loudly

The bom has been planted

Ali, my younger brother asked for Counter Strike for his birthday. We have been playing the game eversince along with my younger sister, Aina. We usually play as a team, but Ali seemed to develop kiasu and got frustrated when he killed the least.

Semua hampa nak bunuh, tinggai la sikit dekat aku.

But he was way too slow; hence we have to kill the enemies ourselves before they get the better of us. Ali ended up playing for the other side.

Mum came and asked Aina what she is doing with the machine gun.

Berjihad!

Mum being mum, looked at the clock and asked Ali

Ni duk berjihad ni, semayang tak lagi Ali? Mana ada orang jihad tak semayang lagi.

To which Ali replied

Terrorist tak semayang.

LOL
here's the link by the way

Book Review: Lump Sum

it has been awhile since i last reviewed a book
too many works, but so little time
haha the same old excuse!

but hey, i still do the reading during my pumping session

so, here's what i've been reading for the past couple of weeks
but before that, please do no expect a super long review by me
and owh, all the synopsis are taken from goodreads

The Yorkshire Pudding Club - Milly Johnson

Three friends discover that they are all pregnant at once. For one it was longed for but for the other two it was definitely not! Their lives intermingle as they go through their pregnancies and their friendships become more important as they choose new things in their lives

my review:
being a mom, and definitely has going through all the pregnancies stuff, i find this book is kind of funny and it has something that i can relate to. so, it's a good one for me!

Keeping Secrets - Alyson Noel

We usually tell our best friends everything. Our crushes, our embarrassing stories, our secrets—but sometimes there are truths so deep and dark that we can't tell anyone. Not our parents, not our sisters...not even our best friends. Some secrets are so unspeakable that we keep them safely locked away so no one will ever discover them.

But what happens when they become more than you can handle alone? In these two magnificent novels, two girls can't tell anyone about the terrible burdens they carry. But as they're about to learn, it's not our secrets that matter most—but those who still love us once they learn the truth

my review:
yep, you read it right! Keeping secrets is actually 2 books in one
the first one is Faking 19, and the other one Saving Zoe
not really liking Faking 19 (duh..because i'm gonna hit that 30 this year) so absolutely this book is not my cup of tea
however Saving Zoe, i was pleased with it! it has good message, nice storyline and the characters are more likeable

Twenties Girl - Sophie Kinsella

Lara Lington has always had an overactive imagination, but suddenly that imagination seems to be in overdrive. Normal professional twenty-something young women don’t get visited by ghosts. Or do they?

When the spirit of Lara’s great-aunt Sadie—a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance—mysteriously appears, she has one request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie’s possession for more than seventy-five years, because Sadie cannot rest without it.

Lara and Sadie make a hilarious sparring duo, and at first it seems as though they have nothing in common. But as the mission to find Sadie’s necklace leads to intrigue and a new romance for Lara, these very different “twenties” girls learn some surprising truths from and about each other. Written with all the irrepressible charm and humor that have made Sophie Kinsella’s books beloved by millions, Twenties Girl is also a deeply moving testament to the transcendent bonds of friendship and family.

my review:
FUN FUN READ! Mystery (checked!). Awesome (checked!). Hilarious (checked!)

guess,that's all for now
till i read again!

am i too fast?

i had this conversation with hubby this afternoon

am i too fast?

when completing a work task,
i always manage to finish it earlier before the dateline
sorry, but i'm not bragging here...you can ask my boss ^^
however the consequences are, either i get more new tasks OR i need to finish up the work of other colleagues OR several minor errors

and then when i eat with my fellow friends,
i will always be the first one to finish my meal
this one, i guess it was from my TKC days where you only get 5-10 minutes to wallop all the food
haha, old habit sticks forever!

when me and hubby are ready to head to the office,
i will always be the one who are already waiting inside the car with the kids when hubby is still busy trying to  find his socks or put on his shoes
it is kind of funny when the truth is, my every morning-to-do-lists is a whole lot longer than his morning-to-do-lists
starts with me getting up and take a bath, then wakes hubby up for his bath, then wakes najah up for her bath, help her put on the school uniform, tying up her hair, prepare nadeem's stuff to the babysitter, prepare najah school bag, prepare my pumping bag and bla bla bla

and then my hubby also mentioned, that i talk too fast most of the times
~sigh

so, i asked him how should i fix my problem
especially at my working area
and i believe that he gave me a really good piece of advice
this is not exactly his words, but i like to put it this way

it's all about BALANCING sayang
you have to know when you need to slow down
or when you need to gear up
if not, you'll miss everything in between!

yeah, like i'm some kind of Michelin tyre or something!
heck, but i'll try to remember that eventho i'm still doubting myself
