Break Even

if you get to watch the american idol last night, then you'll know what i mean
break even, it's a song sang by chris medina
and what makes him suddenly special?
here's the heart-wrenching story

In October 2009, only two months before they were supposed to wed, Chris's 23-year-old fiancée Juliana Ramos sustained a traumatic brain injury in a horrific car crash and lapsed into a lengthy coma. She has yet to recover from her massive, life-changing injuries, and since the accident, Chris has dedicated himself to being her caretaker. "What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most?" he explained.

Even class-clown judge Steven Tyler became visibly choked up when Chris brought the wheelchair-bound Juliana into the audition room to say hello, hugging her and telling her through tears, "That's why he sings so good, because he sings to you."

as a human being, i cannot not to feel sad or moved by what he's done for juliana
he is truly an amazing person and hopefully he can make it in the idol

chris and juliana, your love story is so beautiful!

the other language

last year i mentioned to my husband that i wish to learn another language
haha last year?
yes, and just recently i enrolled in one
korean dowh!

reason being, many i would say
apart from the k-pop, the k-drama, the always cute guys, and the flawless gorgeous hotties cultures that bombarded our dear country, it's the beauty of the language itself
the speaking and the writing (especially the alphabets) always captivate me
that is why i always choose to learn language that have their own characters rather than the one with romanised language i.e french
but, guilty me for not taking up arabic lesson which is by the way the mother tounge of our religion and the Holy Quran (slap me!)

and then, these are the two country which i really want to go
korea and japan
so, learning the language of the country which hardly spoke english is pretty much essential
at least we need to know the basic conversation to communicate, right?

anyway, i've taken japanese language way 10-15 years back during my high school years
but sad enough, since there was zero practice at all(speaking and writing)
i kind of forget the words and even the letters
what's the point of you know how to read the words but you don't understand what it mean
sigh

so, hopefully for this korean language i might be able to do well
i believe if you are passion enough in what you do, everything will work out perfectly
as for now, i'm in the middle of memorizing and practicing the consonants and the vowels
challenging perhaps, but gradually i will grip it

another korean drama worth watching for
somehow i feel like i should create a new blog for my k-drama craze (-_-')

Sungkyunkwan Scandal is set in Sungkyunkwan University in the late Joseon era during the reign of King Jeongjo, revolving around the exploits and love stories of four youths. When her younger brother's illness worsens and their family is in danger of being evicted from their house for lack of money, Kim Yoon Hee enters the school under his name, disguised as a boy in her desperation to support him. There, she becomes friends with the intelligent and upright Lee Sun Joon, the playboy Goo Yong Ha and rebellious Moon Jae Shin.

at the end of the day, i am helplessly fall for the bromance (brother+romance) between Goo Yong Ha and Moon Jae Shin
and i am pretty sure for those who already watched it would feel the same way too

overall, the story was great and endearing!

the incident was, i was on my way back from the utm p.o.
(collecting a parcel from thepoplook, dowhh)
then, i saw a whole bunch of people outside the library
laughing and cheering! ok what the hell is going on people?
i saw two perodua myvi cars with fly fm stickers all over it
like seriously? the FLY FM TROOPERS is here? in UTM?

so, i called my hubby
the conversation was somewhat like this

me: hello syg! you know what..the fly fm troopers is here, outside the library! serious tak sangka hahaha
hubby: yeke? go la join the crowd..grab a thing or two
me: ishh tak mo la..malu kut
hubby: alaaa please..please
me: ok la..fine

so, i squeezed myself in
answered a few sumpah senang gell question
and i got myself a cleo magazine this month issue (baru beli haritu kut, tp tak kesah la)
a white and blue tumbler and a pen
wheeeeee!
ok i know the gifts tidaklah se'marvelous' LV handbag tp it's the excitement that counts!
i did not participate in the superhero game tho
(tgn sudah penuh, tak boleh nak buat aksi superhero huhu upset!)


anyway to fly fm, thank you for filling up my day
tak sia-sia we listen to you guys

bye bye mary..here comes the princess

mary stayed out all night already ended last december
sad!
i am so going to miss jang geun seuk for now

can't wait for his upcoming drama or movie

i wrote about something here
and yes, i got it done!
(hoho.. syabas jaja!)

as much as i really love the color which i brought up from my previous post
i actually go the other way around
guess what?
i chose red instead!

since i'm still a newbie in this
i dare not go for the fiery red all
so i opt for a subtle one
perhaps i'll choose some bold colors later..ermm let's say in 2 years time

it was a nerve-wreaking experience though
well, choosing the right color for yourself!
but thankfully both the hair stylist were patience enough and guide me all the way throughout the process
it took me about 3 hours to finish everything
yeah thanks to my long locks!

if you guys were curious about the product i used
it is schwarzkopf
and it can be use while solat (as per told by the hair stylist)
i actually went to a muslimah salon
so i believe they're familiar enough with the halal and non-halal product

btw, i'm not going to upload 'me myself with my new hair' here
because that would be just wrong right?
anyhow, it does turn out something like this
