well, how many times have you heard people mention that 'the kids always say the darndest things!'?
errr...they will not always say the darndest thing, mind you,
but most of the time, there will be some funny new words coming out from their tiny mouth
be a parent, you are privilege to get to across that situation once in awhile
this is what happens to me too, with najah actually
and of course, we have a good laugh every time she spilled out the words
as for nadeem, he is gradually improving on his daily simple vocab in order to catch up with his big sister
so, mama is still waiting for that moment!
here goes--
B for Baldi
najah has some difficulty pronouncing the word 'baldi'
guess what always coming out from her?
Blaaa-di!
i think if other people heard her saying that, they might think that she's swearing some bad word
bloody? blaa-di?

B for Barbie
here's another B
hrmmm, on this one, i don't get it why she has a tough time to say the word Barbie because she always mention it as
Braaa-bie!
why? why? is it that you want to wear a bra so soon girl? duh--
tsk...tsk....
B for Menang
yep, i wrote that right
B for menang
practically, her 'menang' is always 'benang'
like
'yeay, najah benang, daddy kalah!'
'mama, tadi najah benang hadiah kat school!'
trust me, you guys have no idea how many times have we corrected her 'benang' to 'menang'
cry me a river--
so, that's all for now
as i'm writing this, i've got an idea that maybe i should write a column post like 'Nonsensical Words Najah Says' or 'Najah & Nadeem Vocabs of the Day' or whatnot
until then, i'm hoping that she won't learn these so-called 'words' before she's totally grown up
