Book Review: Lump Sum

it has been awhile since i last reviewed a book
too many works, but so little time
haha the same old excuse!

but hey, i still do the reading during my pumping session

so, here's what i've been reading for the past couple of weeks
but before that, please do no expect a super long review by me
and owh, all the synopsis are taken from goodreads

The Yorkshire Pudding Club - Milly Johnson

Three friends discover that they are all pregnant at once. For one it was longed for but for the other two it was definitely not! Their lives intermingle as they go through their pregnancies and their friendships become more important as they choose new things in their lives

my review:
being a mom, and definitely has going through all the pregnancies stuff, i find this book is kind of funny and it has something that i can relate to. so, it's a good one for me!

Keeping Secrets - Alyson Noel

We usually tell our best friends everything. Our crushes, our embarrassing stories, our secrets—but sometimes there are truths so deep and dark that we can't tell anyone. Not our parents, not our sisters...not even our best friends. Some secrets are so unspeakable that we keep them safely locked away so no one will ever discover them.

But what happens when they become more than you can handle alone? In these two magnificent novels, two girls can't tell anyone about the terrible burdens they carry. But as they're about to learn, it's not our secrets that matter most—but those who still love us once they learn the truth

my review:
yep, you read it right! Keeping secrets is actually 2 books in one
the first one is Faking 19, and the other one Saving Zoe
not really liking Faking 19 (duh..because i'm gonna hit that 30 this year) so absolutely this book is not my cup of tea
however Saving Zoe, i was pleased with it! it has good message, nice storyline and the characters are more likeable

Twenties Girl - Sophie Kinsella

Lara Lington has always had an overactive imagination, but suddenly that imagination seems to be in overdrive. Normal professional twenty-something young women don’t get visited by ghosts. Or do they?

When the spirit of Lara’s great-aunt Sadie—a feisty, demanding girl with firm ideas about fashion, love, and the right way to dance—mysteriously appears, she has one request: Lara must find a missing necklace that had been in Sadie’s possession for more than seventy-five years, because Sadie cannot rest without it.

Lara and Sadie make a hilarious sparring duo, and at first it seems as though they have nothing in common. But as the mission to find Sadie’s necklace leads to intrigue and a new romance for Lara, these very different “twenties” girls learn some surprising truths from and about each other. Written with all the irrepressible charm and humor that have made Sophie Kinsella’s books beloved by millions, Twenties Girl is also a deeply moving testament to the transcendent bonds of friendship and family.

my review:
FUN FUN READ! Mystery (checked!). Awesome (checked!). Hilarious (checked!)

guess,that's all for now
till i read again!
